himbo vs bimboy

chirongndri can't believe that i am making a post about this but its happening
himbo - an attractive but academically unintelligent man, always respects women.
bimboy - a small, ditzy, friendly, effeminate man, who respects women.
we can get more into the different body type that bimboys and himbos have and the upholding of the gender binary that the definition of bimboy does, but what is important to note right now is that these two terms describe maasc aligned indiviuals in two Very different ways.
while himbos can break the gender binary they are usually seen as masculine men, they are espcially loved and desired as they are nonthreatening in the way that most people are not Used to seeing masculine men. they are respectful, emotionally intelligent, kind, caring, and most importantly not absolute trash cans of people that need to be treated like an unruly 10 year old that just learned a slur on a MWF2 lobby.
bimboys can be seen as breaking the gender binary by being effeminate, small, and ditzy. they more conform to what the traditional definition of bimbo is except that they would identify as boys. not at all similar to f3mboys which is technically a transmisogynistic slur as it compares feminine presenting men to trans women and also adds their to fetishization in the porn industry and in irl sexual interactions.
notice how both of these definitions have an emphasis on respecting women, this is something that makes bimboys and himbos similar Past the word structure of making them Safe for women to indulge in and find solace in. bimboys can almost be see as the GBF archetype without actually having to Be the GBF.
truly have no idea what im saying, anyways i identify as a bimboy bc that not only describes my gender but also my presentation and expression as well. the idea of being call a man makes me legitimately ill, i could only be a himbo if i had to be stealth before i figured out how safe i was in a situation, but i am always a bimboy. the word boy is safe, nonthreatening, and comforting for me to use on myself. this is who i am i guess!! i truly dont know what i made this post for but u al are gonna fucken read it whether u want to or not!!!!
